2-FIRST STEPS TOWARDS GARDEN DESIGN: LA102
How to plan and design a garden
How to study well a SPACE in relation to its PROPORTION.
This course will give you a scientific analysis of how to shuffle and pick the installations of plants in relation to:
• To each other
• To the weather and the climate overall
• To the surrounding
• To the actual size of the space
• To the landscape installed along with the plants
How to build a bar-b-q, and where is it best to install it.
How to maximize the space in your garden and most of all how to divide it into useful spaces, such as:
• Children’s recreation area
• Seating area
• Vegetable and fruit garden
• Water features: swimming pools; water fountains; streams, etc…
• Bar-b-q and eating areas

3- PLANTS and TREES: LA103
It teaches you how to become familiar with all sorts of plantation. It also shows you how to pick the appropriate plants and trees for a specific job.
Including also are some information about the temperature and climates in relation to thriving plants and trees.
Everyone fears that somehow the plants will not survive. We’ll teach you how to overcome this fear by planting the appropriate plants in the right place.
We provide you with a plant hardiness zone for any region you desire.
PLANTS AND TREES are the soul and spirit of any garden, we’ll take you step by step and show you how to master that field and overcome that fear.
How to identify different soils you are dealing with and how to dress it in order to improve it.
Knowing the soil is a very important issue in any garden. It’s the make or break of the health and wealth of your PLANTS AND TREES. From the soils is where the plants get its main nourishments. Therefore, knowing the latter is a must.
By taking this session you will be able to identify with the type of soil and what is needed to improve it.
5-COLOR AND TEXTURE IN THE GARDEN: LA105
Diversify the range of colors and textures in the garden through the appropriate plants and trees.
This session teaches you how to pick a plant upon its color or texture or even both. Sometimes the lack of colors in a garden will make it look a little lifeless, while mixing too much colors or the wrong colors and textures in a garden can leave you with a disaster.
This session will enable you to distinguish and elaborate your choice upon the knowledge of the COLOR and TEXTURE of the desired plants and trees.
6-ESTABLISHING A LAWN: LA106
How to establish a lawn and maintain it. Which grass seed to use.
WHAT &WHEN to feed it.
This exclusive session takes you by the hand and teaches you how to create a brand new lawn in any desired garden, what seed to use, where and how to keep it and maintain it into a healthy beautiful lawn.
It also provides you with the best information of how and when is the best time to cut a lawn, the watering techniques and most of all the drainage requirements.
7-THE VEGETABLE AND FRUIT GARDEN: LA107
Everything you ever wanted to know about organic vegetable and fruit gardening.
You can check the charts and tables regarding:
1- The planting time of each vegetable and fruit.
2-The lighting needs of the most common ones.
3- The amount of plants grown for the use of each adult.
4- Planting guide for spacing of seed and their appropriate depths.
5- Categories that are easier to transplant into pots after their seedling. We also provide you with a table to suggest soil mixture specifying amounts.
This course is illustrated in so many ways for you to always keep as a reference, every time you need to establish a fruit or a vegetable garden, or even both.

8-HARDSCAPE, ORNAMENTS AND LIGHTING: LA108
Basically, we covered all the aspects interrelated to paving, balustrades, lighting, fences and all sorts of hard elements that are included in a garden.
A garden is only complete after you have established the complementary hardscape.
Paving is the hardcore of the hardscape. A paving can make or break a garden through its color, pattern and most of all the way it is graded. By completing this session you would be able to use your judgment for a wonderful paving layout.
Lighting is essential to a garden without you cannot benefit from it during nighttime. Therefore never forget to incorporate your lights and if you want to find out the best way to establish the latter, then do not hesitate to sign up for this session.

9-HISTORY OF GARDEN DESIGN: LA109
History is essential to understand why one tends to design in a specific manner and what are the requirements, fashion and utilities available that leads to a certain design. This course is essential for helping to develop your skills and perceptions throughout your career as a Garden Designer.
10-HOW TO CONVINCE A CLIENT TO CONTRACT A JOB: LA110
